I am so excited because I have one of my sweet friends and fellow mompreneurs on The Secret Ingredient Series- Dawn of The Nashville Mom Blog! This episode is all about entertaining for football and tailgate season. We made one of my favorite snack food recipes, a low-fat Cheese Ball! It’s creamy, delicious and a fan-favorite at every tailgate party. 🏈

Ingredients:

Two, 8-ounce bars of softened low-fat cream cheese

Lawry’s Seasoning Salt 1/2 white onion

Two stalks fresh celery (more if you like more crunch!)

1 cup chopped pecans

Steps:

In a large mixing bowl add:

Add two, 8-ounce bars of softened low-fat cream cheese to a large mixing bowl.

Add two teaspoons of Lawry’s seasoning salt.

Add two tablespoons of finely chopped onion.

Add two tablespoons of chopped celery. For more crunch, add more celery.

Add one cup of roughly chopped pecans.

Mix all of your ingredients together until evenly combined.

Pour one cup of chopped pecans onto a square of plastic wrap.

Put your cream cheese mixture onto the pecan lined plastic wrap.

Use the plastic wrap to mold the ingredients into the cheese ball shape then place into a bowl. Once in a bowl, chill in the fridge for two hours.

Serve on a plate or in a bowl with crackers or chips and enjoy! And go OU!
