"There’s so much to be thankful for"
As 2024 winds down, I find myself reflecting on the many things I’m grateful for.
I’m thankful for the victory in the 2024 election, for the preservation of our freedoms, and for the leaders who are standing firm against the tide. It’s heartening to see those chosen for leadership positions, who have fought criticism, stood by their beliefs, and succeeded on their own merit.
I’m grateful that freedom of speech is starting to be valued again. Since 2020, we’ve witnessed attempts to silence opposing voices, but those who spoke out faced criticism and persecution. I made the choice to speak my mind and, although I faced backlash, I remained vocal. I lost engagements, sales, and even friendships, but I stood firm in knowing that freedom isn’t free.
I’m thankful for the change of seasons—living in Florida has given me a new appreciation for the mild temperatures after years in Nashville, where I took the vibrant autumn colors for granted.
I’m forever grateful for my daughter, for her health, safety, and happiness. Watching her grow brings me the greatest joy.
As we enter this new season, I’m also grateful for you, dear reader. Thank you for your continued support. Gratitude brings grace and favor, and I wish you all the blessings this Thanksgiving season.
